Recommended Action
Continue public hearing to December 12, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. to consider proposed Zoning Code Amendments related to commercial and tourism uses in the agricultural zones, including substantive changes to the Zoning Code regulations for special event facilities, bed and breakfast uses, and other agricultural commercial uses and approve resolution adopting a Negative Declaration for the Agricultural Commercial Zoning Code Amendment and approve ordinance adopting the Zoning Code Amendment.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and considered this item at the meeting on September 12, 2017.  The Board voted to continue this item, along with the proposed Williamson Act Guidelines, to the meeting of November 7, 2017.  Staff is requesting that the two related items be further continued to the meeting of December 12, 2017, to give stakeholders additional time to consider the proposed changes.

The Zoning Code has been the topic of several public meetings and has benefited from input from various stakeholders.
