Recommended Action
Continue public hearing to December 12, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. to consider proposed Williamson Act Guidelines memorializing local requirements for land under Williamson Act contracts pursuant to the California Land Conservation Act of 1965, Government Code 51200 et seq and approve resolution adopting the Williamson Act Guidelines.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and considered this item at the meeting on September 12, 2017.  The Board voted to continue this item, along with the proposed update to the commercial agricultural (agri-tourism) zoning regulations, to the meeting of November 7, 2017.  Staff is requesting that the two related items be further continued to the meeting of December 12, 2017 to allow stakeholders additional time to review the proposal.
Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies)
County Counsel has participated in the preparation of the draft Williamson Act Guidelines.  The Guidelines have been reviewed by some of the citizens advisory committees and by the Farm Bureau.
