No funds have been budgeted for this item.
As a point of reference, the City of Davis sister city model allows the City to commit approximately $1,000 per year to fund official city gifts for delegations and perhaps contribute to an official dinner/lunch/event. The City does not fund trips or delegations, but on some occasions has allowed city staff who are visiting a sister city as part of an official group to count their time spent in official capacity representing the city during the visit as regular work time, rather than vacation.
Each sister city has a local committee that works to plan for a delegation’s visit using personal funds and donations. In the case of Yolo County this is the Friends of Yuseong Committee. |
