Recommended Action |
- Approve an agreement with Carolie Long for purchase of a temporary construction easement for the County Road 12 Bridge over Zamora Creek Replacement Project.
- Approve an agreement with Parmjit Dosanjh, Sarbjit Dosanjh, Joginder Dosanjh, Sirinder Dosanjh, and Ranjit Dosanjh for purchase of a road and utility easement and a temporary construction easement for the County Road 12 Bridge over Zamora Creek Replacement Project.
- Authorize the Director of Planning, Public Works and Environmental Services or the Assistant Director for Public Works to approve payment, open escrow, accept the easement, and record the deed once the signed deed had been received and escrow has closed.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
A permanent road and utility easement and two temporary construction easements are required for the County Road 12 Bridge over Zamora Creek Replacement Project. Pattison and Associates Inc., a property appraisal consultant, provided an appraisal and an accompanying independent review appraisal to determine the value of the property. County staff worked with the property owners to come to a mutually acceptable agreement for purchase. |

The adopted FY 2015/16 road fund budget includes funds for right of way acquisition to cover right of way purchases for this project. The total cost will be reimbursed with federal transportation funds at a rate of 100%. |
