Recommended Action |
- Approve responses to the following 2014-2015 Yolo County Grand Jury reports:
- Yolo County Animal Services: “If it walks, crawls, flies or slithers…”
- Monroe Detention and Leinberger Memorial Centers: Adapting Throughout Political and Physical Change
- Receive and file responses to the following 2014-2015 Yolo County Grand Jury reports:
- The Yolo County Central Landfill: Cutting Edge Technology
- Closing the Loop: How Yolo County Implements Its Responses to the Grand Jury
- Authorize the County Administrator to transmit responses to Judge Richardson of the Superior Court.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
According to Penal Code §933 and 933.05, the respondents named in a Grand Jury report are required to respond in writing. The attached documents represent the responses from the Yolo County Board of Supervisors, County Administrator, County Counsel, Chief Probation Officer, Director and Deputy Director of Integrated Waste Management for the Department of Planning, Public Works & Environmental Services and Director of Human Resources. Note: the Yolo County Sheriff-Coroner, on behalf of the Chief Animal Services Officer and Monroe Detention Center Commander, responded under separate cover on July 10, 2015. Upon approval and receipt, the responses will be forwarded to Judge Richardson as provided by law. |
