Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
In April 2014, Health and Human Services entered into an agreement with CommuniCare to provide wrap around services for children and families in Yolo County. With this contract amendment, Probation will also utilize the wrap around services provided by CommuniCare for children and families served by the Probation department. Probation will provide funding for the increased contract amount. HHSA and the Probation Department entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concerning the respective responsibilities of Probation and HHSA in reporting and billing expenditures for wrap-around services for minors who are wards of the court to prevent higher level of placement or to step down from higher level of placement through the HHSA Agreement with CommuniCare Health Centers. Probation will receive the Mentally Ill Offender Crime Reduction Program (MIOCR) Grant funding and has allocated funding in the amount of $223,818 for the increased contract amount. |
