| Ratify three contracts to continue Project Roomkey with an initial term of July 1, 2021 through July 31, 2021 with an option to extend through December 31, 2021. (No general fund impact) (Larsen) |
| Recommended Action |
- Ratify the following contracts to continue Project Roomkey with an initial term of July 1, 2021 through July 31, 2021 with an option to extend through December 31, 2021, executed by the Procurement Manager to provide emergency support services to clients:
1. CommuniCare Health Centers, for a contracted amount of $83,936.36 and an option to extend up to $503,618.16.
2. Empower Yolo, for a contract amount of $10,000 and an option to extend up to $60,000.
3. Yolo County Children’s Alliance, for a contracted amount of $15,000, and an option to extend up to $90,000.
- Delegate authority to the Director of the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency or her/his designee to 1)exercise up to 5 optional monthly extensions through December 31, 2021 for a total of $108,936.36 per month and 2) issue related optional monthly notices.

| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The Yolo County response to the COVID-19 pandemic includes providing locations for individuals living homeless to shelter in place, specifically in non-congregate settings. Emergency funding sources that support the motels and transportation services require that the County provide behavioral and other social services to individuals at these locations. Health & Human Services Agency is addressing this requirement by contracting with providers to fulfill unique roles with all individuals in the motels: Homeless Services Lead, Case Manager, Runner and Caller.
HHSA requested the County's Procurement Manager to review and sign these contracts to expedite the contracting process in order for these services to continue uninterrupted throughout the community. The County contracts more than $200,000 annually with each provider, ultimately requiring approval by the Board of Supervisors. HHSA respectfully requests the BOS to ratify the following 3 Project Room Key Providers as signed by the Yolo County Procurement Manager.

No general funds are required by this action. These services will be funded by State funds through the CMSP CERG grant. The amount of $108,936.36 is included in the HHSA proposed budget for fiscal year 2021-22.
