Approve the August 31, 2021 All-Mail Ballot Landowner District Election for the Colusa Basin Drainage District, Division III (3). (No general fund impact) (Salinas)
Recommended Action
Approve the Colusa Basin Drainage District's request that the Yolo County Elections Office conduct an all-mail ballot landowner district election on August 31, 2021 for the portion of Division III (3) that is situated within Yolo County.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Colusa Basin Drainage District adopted Resolution 2021-03 and Resolution 2021-02 calling for an all-mail ballot landowner district election for director positions on the board that are up for election in 2021. See Attachments A and B.

Division III (3) is comprised of the district area situated within Yolo County and the towns (Census Designated Places) of Arbuckle, Grimes and College City which are situated within Colusa County. See Attachment C.
  • Yolo County will hold the election for the portion of Division III (3) that is situated within Yolo County. See Attachment A.
  • Colusa County will hold the election for the portions of Division III (3) that are situated within Colusa County. See Attachment B.
