Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
On December 6, 2019, the Department of Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency (BCSH) released a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP) grant. The funding was allocated to Yolo County for the purpose of providing prevention and shelter diversion to permanent housing, rental assistance and rapid rehousing, delivery of permanent housing and innovation solutions like motel/hotel conversion, new navigation centers and emergency shelters. These funds were approved through the July 31, 2019 passing of Assembly Bill 101 to provide immediate assistance to cities, counties, and local CoCs to address the homelessness crisis throughout California.

No general funds are required by this action. These services will be funded by HHAP Grant. The total amount of this action is $104,046.97 for the period of June 19, 2020 through June 30, 2025. The amount of $104,046.97 is included in the HHSA adopted budget for fiscal year 2020-21. The related funding will be included in the requested budget process for future fiscal years.
The following is the breakdown of funding for this agreement.
Subject to the satisfactory performance of the services required of the Sub-Recipient pursuant to this MOU and following Sub-Recipient’s submission of County approved invoices and such other documentation that the County may require; the County shall pay the Sub-Recipient a maximum amount of ONE HUNDRED FOUR THOUSAND FORTY-SIX DOLLARS AND NINETY-SEVEN CENTS ($104,046.97).
Any unspent funding in a fiscal year, will be rolled over to the next fiscal year(s). Provided, however, that the total amount of compensation to be paid to Sub-Recipient for the services required by this MOU shall not exceed ONE HUNDRED FOUR THOUSAND FORTY-SIX DOLLARS AND NINETY-SEVEN CENTS ($104,046.97) for the services performed
