| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The General Services Department, in cooperation with the County Administrator's Office, is requesting approval to transfer $59,000 between Parks Operations and the Esparto Park & Aquatic Center (Tuli Mem) Park for operations and maintenance. This deficit is a result of the gap between the Proposition 218 assessment and user fees and cost of maintaining and operating the Park. While an endowment has been established, the resulting proceeds are not yet sufficient to fill this gap and it is anticipated there will be a need to provide additional financial support to cover the cost of operations and maintenance for the next three to five years.
