| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| Consistent with prior Board discussion of this topic on April 3 and May 8, 2018, the attached ordinance (Attachment A) and resolution (Attachment B) will modify the governance of Yolo County Housing to vest a reconstituted Housing Commission with full governance authority. The Housing Commission will have seven seats appointed by the Board of Supervisors--four seats intended to be held by City Council nominees, one at-large seat that may be held by a Supervisor, and two seats held by tenants (as required by state law). If adopted, the ordinance and resolution will take effect on July 1, 2018 or whenever the Board has appointed a majority of the Housing Commission seats, whichever comes later. |
