| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
The Yolo Land Trust has requested a resolution of support for their purchase of a conservation easement on the 69 acre Haag Walnut Orchard near the town of Esparto. The attached maps shows the location of the easements and the associated APNs (Atts. A and B).
The easement acquisition will be funded by the State of California Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program. The program requires a Board of Supervisors’ resolution in support of the purchase (Att. C). The Agricultural Commissioner is supportive of the conservation easement. |
