Competitive Bid Process |
General Services received quotes for the building and installation from various vendors ranging from $27,700 to $64,700. General Services will award project to the lowest bidder.
Once the building is received and installed, General Services estimates the remaining work for HVAC, concrete, electrical, sewer and other various tasks not to exceed $120,230. All of these trades will be performed by contractors who have opted into the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) which allows for public projects less than $175,000 to use the informal bidding procedures set forth in section 22032(b) of the Act. |
