Adopt Authorized Position and Salary Resolution to implement minimum wage increases for extra help class titles and changes in the County Administrator, Health & Human Services Agency and Probation departments.

The recommended minimum wage increases for extra help class titles has a minimal fiscal impact as the Library Page is the only class with incumbents at this time. The fiscal impact for the remainder of FY 2017-18 is estimated to be $3,488.  The Library has sufficient funds within its existing budget to cover this cost.

Source of Funds: HHSA Administrative Overhead
Explanation: This recommendation is funded by the HHSA Administrative Overhead fees spread across the agency and does not result in a fiscal impact to the General Fund.

Increase from 17/18 Budgeted Amount: $15,206
If Partial Year, Full Year Impact: $297,593
Source of Funds: Prop 172; Federal Funds
Explanation: This recommendation is funded by 50% Federal ORR Grant funds and 50% Prop 172. There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund.
