Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
In September 2016, the County and Yolo County Housing (YCH) entered into an Agreement for YCH to provide subsidized employment for CalWORKS clients. Subsidized employment provides employers with financial support for hiring CalWORKS clients with the goal of transferring the client to unsubsidized employment. This contract was initially for $16,500 to subsidize wages for CalWORKS clients to work at YCH. This agreement was then amended to $22,500 for FY 15-16 to allow for extra placements. The purpose of this Second Amendment is to exercise our first option year and decrease the initial compensation for FY 16-17 back to $16,500. |
