- Approve response to 2015-2016 Yolo County Grand Jury report "Yolo Habitat Conservancy: A Never Ending Story"; and
- Authorize the County Administrator to transmit the response to Judge Richardson of the Superior Court and to the Grand Jury.

| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| According to Penal Code §933 and 933.05, the respondents named in a Grand Jury report are required to respond in writing. The attached document requests a response from the Yolo County Board of Supervisors, the Yolo County Chief Financial Officer (as to Recommendation 2 only), and each of the four cities that are members of the Conservancy. The Grand Jury also invited the Conservancy Board of Directors and Executive Director to respond to the report; they responded jointly in a letter and accompanying memorandum dated July 18, 2016. The response developed for the Board of Supervisors and the Chief Financial Officer is based closely on the Conservancy's response, which is included as an attachment thereto. |
