Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
According to the Welfare and Institutions Code, the Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) should deliver an annual report to the County Board of Supervisors.
The CAPC annual report will include a summary of ongoing activities, highlight the new Strong Families Yolo website, review the CAPC response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and provide recommendations related to child care and early education. |
Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies) |
Yolo County Children’s Alliance (YCCA) is the lead for the Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) in Yolo County. The CAPC is a program of YCCA, supported by YCCA staff.
