   3. Conduct Board Development Workshop: the purpose of this session is to discuss matters of general Board governance, including the Board Governance Manual and related issues concerning effective leadership; and to review and provide input and direction on the following:
 
  • Protocol to consider advocacy for legislative, ballot measure, judicial and other proposals of statewide, national and international interest and other edits to the Board Governance Manual
  • Instrument to survey employees concerning Board governance
  • Supervisor's Deputy salary comparison
  • Website statistics
  • External funding requests
  • Policy concerning quasi-judicial hearings and ex-parte communications
