| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| The Board has for several years supported efforts to acquire, renovate, and operate a new Adult Day Health Center (ADHC) to serve Yolo County Residents. On January 12, 2021 a framework and funding plan was approved by the Board for expansion of the facility with the acquisition, construction, and renovation activities set to begin by Dignity Health as early as January 2021. The achievement of this objective is due strongly in part to a $1.25 million contribution to the project by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation through their Doyuti T'uhkama program. In recognition of this significant contribution, the County has prepared a letter to the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation (Attachment A) in gratitude for their support of this important project for the most vulnerable members of the Yolo County community. |
