On December 15, 2020 the Yolo County Board of Supervisors approved alterations to the 2020-2024 Yolo County Strategic Plan. This included alterations to metrics and strategies, as well as some additions, and an extension of the plan timeline to the 2025 calendar year. Staff has updated the pre-existing summary document regarding the Strategic Plan, which was originally received by the Board on January 14, 2020, in order to incorporate these changes (See Attachment A: 2020-2025 Strategic Plan) This document summarizes the development process, implementation plan, and the strategic plan outcomes and metrics.
Additionally, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, County staff achieved a number of accomplishments related to the strategies of the Strategic Plan over the course of the 2020 calendar year. These accomplishments vary greatly and include housing assistance for those experiencing homelessness, infrastructure projects in the rural communities, outreach to the farm working community regarding available assistance, and the establishment of a climate emergency resolution. These accomplishments and more are captured in the Strategic Plan 2020 Accomplishments report (Attachment B) which will be posted on the Yolo County website on the Strategic Plan page. Many of these accomplishments were also shared with the Board during the Board's Strategic Planning Session in September 2020. |
