Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
Following a competitive solicitation process, a contract was awarded to MP Nexlevel on September 4, 2018 (Agreement No. PO3431), in the amount of $80,750 to install a fiber optic network at the Yolo County Central Landfill. It was anticipated that the project would be completed in fiscal year 2018-19, and as such, sufficient funds were budgeted in fiscal year 2018-19. A delay in the preparatory work delayed the start of this project and pushed the start date into fiscal year 2019-2020. At the time the 2019-2020 budget was being finalized, this project was anticipated to be completed before June 30th and project funds were not budgeted for 2019-2020. In order to correct this and complete the project, staff is requesting an adjustment to this fiscal year’s budget in the previously stated amount. |
