Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The County is seeking approval of a non-exclusive private storm drain easement, which will allow the County to have access to an existing underground storm drain, which, is located under a portion of land owned by Communicare Health Centers (a portion of APN 64-010-26).  (The sale of this property to Communicare Health Centers, was approved by the Board of Supervisors on February 1, 2011). The underground drain currently connects to the adjacent County library service center. The easement specifically contains, but is not necessarily limited to, the right from time to time to construct, reconstruct, install, inspect, maintain, replace, remove and use ungerground pipes and appurtenances for drainage purposes. It also allows the County the a right of way therefore, and also ingresses thereto and egresses therefrom, over and across the lands within the described real property in the City of Woodland, County of Yolo, State of California (as described in Attachment C and delineated in Attachment D).
