| Recommended Action |
| Authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to sign the "Amendment to Agreement 08-56 with California American Water for Operation and Maintenance Services for the Water Recycling Facilities and Water Supply Facilities at the Wild Wings Golf Community" (Attachment A), to revise the Terms of Payment, and extend the term of the contract. |

| Reason for Recommended Action/Background |
| The recommended contract amendment with California American Water will provide the authorization for operation and maintenance services of the water supply/distribution and wastewater recycling facilities for the Wild Wings County Service Area. In particular, this amendment will allow for the operations and maintenance costs to be paid for through the date of March 31, 2014. California American Water has been providing operations and maintenance services and is currently under contract through March 31, 2013. California American Water has agreed to essentially the same terms of the original contract with an additional Labor Standby Premium. At this time, both Staff and the Wild Wings CSA Advisory Committee recommend the adoption of the attached contract amendment with California American Water. |
