Reason for Recommended Action/Background

Previously the Board agreed to Amendment #5 of the joint powers authority authorizing Yolo County to join the Napa-Solano-Yolo regional Public Health Laboratory effective July 1, 2012. This Amendment #6 to the joint powers authority continues the existing agreement and adds Marin County effective July 1, 2013.
